Atlantic Pionnières

Atlantic Pionnières is a new business unit of Atlanpole, which is entirely dedicated to women wishing to start-up their own innovative companies in the Pays-de-la-Loire area.
Women who want to create and develop innovative companies and ambitious businesses that employ more than one person.
Why?
Business women do not have easy access to resources and networks that can help them establish and grow their business.
What are the goals?
The program helps find solutions for female entrepreneurs who:
- Feel isolated and hope to join a network;
- Lack knowledge on some aspects of start-up building and need training and advices;
- Are concerned about achieving a balance between their life and their work.
How?
- Short training courses on subjects including: The financial aspects of company creation; How to manage one’s time; How to manage a project;
- Specific training: How to get the best from one’s work and still have a life;
- An experienced business coach;
- A mentor: a business woman who has relevant business experience.
Atlantic Pionnières is:
- A network of women and business in Nantes
- A club of business women who develop innovative activities
Some success stories:
Biomatlante: created by Chantal Gobin. Activity: synthetic bone substitutes, matrix tissue engineering.
TcLand: created by Marina Guillet. Activity: drug discovery and development in transplantation and autoimmune diseases.
Bitasoft: created by Jocelyn Ibrahim. Activity: application software provider and independent software vendor company.
Atlantic Pionnières was created in 2008 and joined Pionnières Federation: female incubators network: Paris Pionnières (created in 2005), Ouest pionnières, Normandie Pionnières, PACA pionnières, Belgrade pionnières, Casa Pionnières created in 2008.
